“Come and see.” – John 1:39

Begin Settling into the Life of the Church

At All Saints, we know that coming into the life of the Church is not always a straight line. Whether you are new to Christianity, returning after many years, or seeking a deeper connection to the historic faith, the Time of Inquiry offers a season to listen, observe, ask questions, and begin to receive the gifts of Christ.

This is not a class or a program. It is simply a time to begin participating in the Church’s life: attending the Divine Service, hearing preaching and teaching, praying with God’s people, and having informal conversations with the pastor along the way.

Who Should Attend the Time of Inquiry?

  • Adults who have never been baptized
  • Christians from other backgrounds who are new to Lutheran doctrine and practice
  • Former Lutherans returning to the Church
  • Anyone interested in preparing to enter the Catechumenate this coming November

If you or someone you know is considering the historic Christian faith and All Saints, the Time of Inquiry is the right first step.

No Pressure. No Deadlines. Just an Open Door.

During the Time of Inquiry, you are encouraged to:

  • Attend the Divine Service regularly
  • Begin building a life of prayer, Word, and worship
  • Join us for meals and conversation when available
  • Ask questions about the faith, the liturgy, the Church, or anything else
  • Meet with the pastor one-on-one as needed

There are no required readings or formal assignments. This is a time to listen, learn, and grow in trust as Christ continues to call His sheep.

The Catechumenate Begins in November

Those who have been participating in the Time of Inquiry and are ready to move forward will be invited into the Catechumenate in early November. The Catechumenate is a season of deeper formation in preparation for baptismconfirmation, and full participation in the sacramental life of the Church.

Come, receive what Christ freely gives:
forgiveness, life, and salvation.

Ready to Begin? Or Just Curious?

You’re welcome to come to the Divine Service on any Sunday at 9:30 a.m. We also encourage you to introduce yourself to our pastors after the service, or reach out during the week.
