From Anna Pittman:

Hello! I’m so excited about our tea + crafting party this Saturday. A few notes:

We’ll provide tea, but feel free to bring your favorite tea if you’d like. Also feel free to bring your favorite fancy tea cup, but we’ll have ~10 tea cups to use if you forget/don’t have one (I’ve been scouring thrift stores for months). Also we’ll have mimosas for the adults and a herbal tea spritzer (tea + soda) for the children (and me).

We’ll be bringing: hot ham sliders, lemon blueberry scones, mini spinach quiches, banana bread, and mini cheesecake bites. Feel free to bring a little dish to share (but no pressure!).

We’ll be providing the paint and flower pots– if you have paintbrushes at home feel free to bring them, if we don’t have enough I’m sure we can borrow some from the school.

We thought it would be fun to play a little get-to-know-you game while we paint the flower pots! When you arrive, you’ll write down one fact about yourself that others may not know and put it in a jar. As we paint, someone will read a random fact out and we’ll have to guess who it belongs to. Some examples might be: I’ve traveled to two continents, I aced classical Latin in college, I once won a dance competition in high school, etc. And for the younger girls it could be something like: my favorite class is literature, my favorite Narnia character is Lucy, etc.

See you Saturday at 10am!
