Beyond the weekly Sunday and Wednesday gathering at Divine Service and the weekday prayer services (Matins, Evening Prayer, etc.), the communal life of All Saints parish revolves around a catechetical and devotional tool called The Congregation at Prayer. It unites us around the same sections of the Word of God and catechism, and gives us a common language for prayer and meditation on the Scriptures. You may download it each week by clicking the link below.

The hymn for the Third Week in Advent is “Lord, Keep Us Steadfast inYour Word” (LSB 655).

About the Streaming of Services: In the midst of the difficulties during the pandemic, it was a blessing to be able to live-stream services so that those who couldn’t make it to Divine Service could still take part from a distance. We are thankful to have been able to stream and that you have been able to watch.

However, live-streaming was never meant to (and, indeed, cannot) replace the physical/incarnational gathering together to which Holy Scripture calls us. Just as Christ took on flesh and dwelt among us (Jn. 1), so too He gathers us together in the flesh to dwell with one another around His holy Word and blessed Sacrament. If you stopped going to worship during the pandemic and have not yet returned, please do so now. We will be overjoyed to see you again! In order to encourage faithfulness in attending Divine Service, public live-streaming has been discontinued.

If you are shut-in/homebound and so unable to attend Divine Service, please let Pastor Leigeber know so that He can bring Christ’s Word and Sacrament to you at home. Recordings of the service and other means of home devotions will also be made available for your edification. For more information, please email Father Leigeber at pastor@allsaintsjonesboro.org. The peace of Christ be with you all!
